Wudong Miao Village is an administrative village in Danjiang Township, Leishan County, Guizhou Province, 20 kilometers from the county seat. It is located on the mountainside of Leigong Mountain, 1300 meters above sea level. This beautiful village is surrounded by the mountains and clouds, the annual average temperature is 12.4 °C here.
Architecture
The building of Wudong Miao Village is similar to other Miao Villages, is wooden stilted building( Diaojiaolou) built on slope. It is generally divided into three floors. The bottom layer is used to store production tools, fertilizer or make toilets and raise poultry or livestock. The second floor is used as a living room, hall, bedroom and kitchen. At the same time, Wudong Miao people are used to build a granary over the creek to prevent rats.
