Feiyun Cliff

Feiyun Cliff, also known as Feiyun Cave, is located 12 kilometers northeast of Huangping County, Qiandongnan Autonomous Prefecture. It covers an area of about 0.5 square kilometers and has a history of 560 years.


Feiyun Cliff was built in the 8th year of the Ming Dynasty (1443).Yuetan Temple suffered many natural damages as its earliest building and it was destroyed twice in the war during the period of the 27th year of Ming Wanli (AD 1599) and the 5th year of Qing Xianfeng (AD 1855) . Then it has undergone extensive renovation and expansion to form a group of unique ancient buildings, which includes religious buildings, ethnic architecture, etc.


Since ancient times, Feiyun Cliff has been presented in front of people with its magnificent karst spectacle,  beautiful ancient buildings and dense woods. In addition to, it has excellent scenery, fresh air, mild climate with good natural ecological environment and abundant historical relics.
