Shuishu is a unique prototype script created by the Shui ethnic group in China. The script has a unique text symbol system, including Chinese characters similar to oracle bone inscriptions and bronze inscriptions, as well as numerous hieroglyphic symbols. It is a comprehensive record and reflection of Shui knowledge and folk culture, involving astronomy and calendar, primitive beliefs, ethics, production and daily life. It is mainly spread in Shui settlements in southwest China.
